This phoenix is ​​nothing short of impressive. There is hardly more to say about it.
But we don't want to be so taciturn :)

With approx. 10.7kg, this lamp made of solid bronze weighs quite a bit on the scales. But with a 78cm high Phoenix that should be understandable.
The god bird is extremely detailed and stands on a solid pedestal. Every feather, every fold on the claws of the Phoenix is ​​meticulously carved out and testifies to ancient craftsmanship.

The bronze statue itself is made in a centuries-old wax casting process and has the same authenticity as it was 200 years ago.
In its beak the bird of the gods has a suspension for a glass lampshade in the style of the 1920s. This work of art fits perfectly into colonial style home furnishings or in the Jugendstil or Wilhelminian style that is more common here.
But also Thai furniture is an excellent accompaniment to this (almost) Asian antique.
