Description

Filigree with a real antique look and a wonderful bronze patina. This bronze statue of a Thai temple guard creates a very special ambience for Asia lovers.

Anyone who has ever had the pleasure of traveling to Thailand will have noticed them at the latest in giant format at Bangkok Airport, but also at numerous temples in the country.
These temple guards, or in Thai Yakshaw called with their grim grimaces ensure that evil spirits stay away from the sacred halls of the temples.

The grim guards are actually demons from Ramkian, the origin story of Siam, who once went into battle against King Phra Ram.

Although this is not an antique, but a replica, but it is worked so accurately that you could easily confused this.
